Location: Rathgar, Dublin
Contract: Full-time,one year contract subject to funding
Salary: €40,670 – €50,260
Hours: Core office hours with flexibility (occasional evenings/weekends)
NOVAS supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The organisation are currently recruiting a Deputy Manager for our Rathgar service to help deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support for vulnerable individuals.
You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and a committed team to ensure clients receive the care and respect they deserve, while helping staff grow and succeed in their roles. You will lead on service delivery, contribute to operational decisions, and ensure quality and compliance across the board.
This role includes staff supervision, rostering, supporting external partnerships, overseeing risk and safety, and participating in an on-call rota (approx. 15 days/year). You’ll help make sure our service feels safe, person-centred, and focused on helping people find and keep a home.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care or similar
- At least 1 year’s experience in homelessness or a related field
- Experience with key working, care planning, and client risk management
- Confident communicator with strong administration and organisational skills
- Calm, professional approach to complex behaviours and crisis situations
- Empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to make a difference
