Volunteer Opportunity – Lough Meals on Wheels Management Committee
Can you help support older people in your local community?
Society of Saint Vincer de Paul, Lough Meals on Wheels is seeking new Volunteer Members to join our Management Committee and help oversee the continued delivery and development of this vital community service.
Our Meals on Wheels service provides freshly prepared meals to older people and those who may be unable to cook for themselves, helping them to remain living independently in their own homes.
As a member of the Management Committee, you will work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to help ensure the service continues to operate safely, effectively and in line with SVP policies, HSE requirements and good governance practices.
We are particularly interested in people who can bring experience or an interest in:
- Governance and Risk Management
- Community Development
- Food Safety
- Finance and accounting
- Administration or general management
