Adult & Adolescent Psychotherapist Contracts
WEXRC is a service offering counselling to women, men and young people (12 years upwards) who have been affected in any way by Domestic, Sexual or Gender-based violence. In addition, we offer support counselling to a partner, family member or friend who is supporting the person who has been abused.
WEXRC requires panel counsellors on short/medium and longer-term contracts depending on the demand for services.
Candidates must possess:
- An accredited qualification in counselling/psychotherapy, minimum Diploma level, recognised by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) or Irish Association for Humanistic Integrative psychotherapy (IAHIP) or equivalent accrediting body.
- A minimum of 2 years counselling experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, report-writing and data entry.
It would be advantageous to have:
- Experience of providing one to one counselling to young people aged 12 and upwards.
- Experience of providing Parental Support.
