Day-to-day operation of the Charity shop
- Strive to reach the charity shop income targets.
- Ensure that high standards of layout and display are kept at all times.
- Ensure that a high standard of customer service is maintained.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the charity shop.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Be responsible for all aspects of security for the charity shop and premises.
- Lead the team by example.
- Be responsible for all cash on the premises.
- Be responsible for the pricing of sale items.
- Ensure that the cash procedures on the till are followed by all members of staff.
- Ensure that the cash accounting and banking procedures are followed.
- Keep all financial records as required.
- Fulfil any financial reporting to the Shop Development Manager, as required.
- Account for and acknowledge all public donations.
- Ensure that all expenditure is within budget and accounted for.
- Maintain all administration systems.
- Charity Shop Supervisor will carry out additional duties as required by the Charity Shop Supervisor
- Charity Shop Supervisor will cover Annual Leave and scheduled days off as required.
- Charity Shop Supervisor will undertake training as required.
