Location: 11 Sean Mulvoy Centre, Sean Mulvoy Road, Galway (hybrid)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: €50,000 - €60,000
Galway Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. Since 1979, they have supported people who are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness by providing housing, health and wellbeing services, and tailored support to enable long-term independence.
The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will focus on identifying, developing and managing corporate partnerships and trust and foundation opportunities to support Galway Simon Community’s services. It will involve stewardship of existing partners, development of new relationships, and proposal writing for grant funding. The successful candidate will have experience in business development or corporate fundraising and a strong understanding of strategic relationship building.

Key responsibilities
- Research and approach corporate prospects, managing a pipeline of potential partners
- Develop Galway Simon Community’s corporate engagement strategy
- Lead on presentations, proposals and donor communications
- Steward existing partnerships and deliver supporter care
- Identify and secure new corporate supporters aligned with organisational goals
- Coordinate grant and trust applications with internal teams
- Work with colleagues on communications, events and digital engagement
- Contribute to budget planning and report on performance and projections
- Assist with the corporate element of the Annual Appeal
- Maintain GDPR compliance and internal records
- Represent Galway Simon Community at relevant meetings and events
The ideal candidate will have
- A third level qualification in fundraising, marketing or business development
- At least 3 years’ experience in corporate fundraising or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in securing and maintaining partnerships
- Strong knowledge of corporate social responsibility in Ireland
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
- Solid project management and time management capabilities
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
