Location: 11 Sean Mulvoy Centre, Sean Mulvoy Road, Galway (hybrid)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: €55,000 - €65,000
Galway Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. Since 1979, they have supported people who are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness by providing housing, health and wellbeing services, and tailored support to enable long-term independence.
This role leads on the development and delivery of Galway Simon Community’s individual giving strategy, with a strong focus on donor acquisition, retention and income growth. The successful candidate will manage a broad fundraising portfolio, including regular giving, direct mail, tax efficient giving, digital campaigns and legacy development. A minimum of three years' experience in individual giving or direct marketing fundraising is essential.

Key responsibilities include
- Leading the individual giving strategy across all traditional and digital channels
- Planning and delivering donor recruitment and stewardship campaigns
- Managing donor journeys and communications, including supporter events and impact reporting
- Using data insights to guide segmentation, campaign planning and evaluation
- Overseeing database accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to deliver effective campaigns
- Identifying opportunities to innovate and test new giving channels
- Supporting wider team efforts in storytelling, content creation and digital engagement
- Managing relationships with vendors
The ideal candidate will have
- At least 3 years of experience in individual giving, direct mail or digital fundraising
- A proven track record in campaign delivery and donor engagement
- Strong skills in project management, communication and data analysis
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Experience with email marketing tools and digital fundraising platforms
- A third-level qualification in marketing, data analytics, communications, business or related field
