Volunteer Opportunity – Rathmullan Day Care Centre Management Committee
Can you help support older people in your local community?
Society of Saint Vincer de Paul, Rathmullan Day Care Centre is seeking new Volunteer Members to join our Management Committee and help oversee the continued delivery and development of this vital community service.
Our Day Care Centre provides a welcoming and safe, social environment for older people in the Rathmullan area. Open every Wednesday and Thursday, the Centre offers nutritious meals, social activities, health and wellbeing programmes, and opportunities for older people to stay active, connected and independent. We support up to 40 service users each day, helping to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
As a member of the Management Committee, you will work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to help ensure the Centre continues to operate safely, effectively and in line with SVP policies, HSE requirements and good governance practices.
We are particularly interested in people who can bring experience or an interest in:
- Governance and Risk Management
- Community Development
- Health and Social Care
- Finance and accounting
- Administration or general management
