Job Title: Centre Manager
Reporting to: WRSAC Board of Directors
WRSAC provides a range of professional, specialized counselling & support services to survivors of all types of sexual violence based on a survivor-centred feminist ethos. Our service delivery includes: crisis and long-term counselling; helpline; SATU, Garda and Court accompaniment; information and advocacy; support for non-abusing family members and friends.
We also deliver education, training and prevention programmes and work in collaboration with other key agencies both to support survivors and work towards instigating real and profound change. WRSAC is a member of Rape Crisis Ireland.
Essential requirements:
- Educated to degree or post graduate level in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a senior co-ordinator or management role.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Up to date knowledge of corporate and charities governance.
- Experience of leading, implementing and managing change in an organization.
- Experience of financial management
- Project and fundraising planning and management
- Strong IT, administrative and organizational skills
Key Competencies
- Knowledge/experience of sexual violence sector and the survivor’s journey
- Knowledge/experience of community and voluntary sector
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Gardai, SATU, Mental Health Services, etc.
- Ability to recognize and respond to emerging needs and issues.
Terms and Conditions: This is a full-time (35hour pw) post.
- Starting salary: €62,000
- Pension: 5% contribution to the WRSAC pension scheme upon completion of probation period.
- Place of work is currently 2A Waterside, Waterford
- Probation period: 6 months
- Annual Leave: 30 days pa
- Working Hours: 9am-5pm Mon to Fri though some flexibility is required.
