The Opportunity

Are you a digital media professional eager to use your skills to make a global impact? Trócaire is looking for a passionate and creative social media expert to help us tell compelling stories that resonate with our audiences and drive our digital presence forward. Join us in working together for a just world, where your work will inspire change and support efforts to improve the lives of millions.

As part of a vibrant and dynamic communications team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to amplify Trócaire’s mission. You’ll play a key role in running our social media channels and developing digital assets that showcase the breadth of our work.

Requirements

You will report to the Digital Communications Manager.The job opportunity will be offered on a specified purpose contract with an expected duration of 12 months and is based in Maynooth.

We’d love if you have proven experience running social media platforms and crafting digital campaigns that engage diverse audiences. Strong storytelling skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to use analytics to refine strategies, are key to this role. You’ll be working closely with teams across the organisation, so relationship building and collaboration are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience with social media planning tools, a deep understanding of platform algorithms, and a passion for using digital platforms to drive positive change will make you an ideal candidate.
