Wexford Local Development (WLD) is a community-based organisation dedicated to fostering inclusive growth and addressing inequality across County Wexford.As one of Ireland’s 48 Local Development Companies, WLD delivers a range of programmes aimed at empowering individuals, supporting communities, and promoting sustainable development.Key initiatives include the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), which provides tailored support to marginalized groups, and the LEADER programme, which funds rural development projects.WLD also offers employment services, education and training opportunities, and operates the Cornmarket Project, supporting individuals affected by addiction and criminal justice issues.Through these efforts, WLD plays a vital role in enhancing social cohesion and economic resilience in the region.
