Migrant Rights Centre Ireland

About Us

Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI) is a national organisation dedicated to promoting justice, equality, and empowerment for migrants living and working in Ireland. Established in 2001, MRCI has been a consistent voice for some of the most marginalised people in the country, including undocumented migrants, low-paid workers, and victims of trafficking. Through a combination of community organising, legal advocacy, policy work, and direct support, the organisation helps people navigate complex systems and assert their rights in the face of exploitation or exclusion.

What makes MRCI stand out is its commitment to leadership from within migrant communities themselves. The organisation supports people to take action, build collective power, and challenge the structural inequalities that affect their lives. Whether campaigning for regularisation, better labour protections, or secure immigration status, MRCI combines frontline experience with systemic analysis. It is not just a service provider but a movement builder, working towards a society where everyone can live with dignity, regardless of where they come from.
